In this site we’ve collected information and are working at providing photo galleries for over 268 birds. We primarily have West coast birds at present, but we’re constantly expanding the list.
Why another birding site?
With all the excellent birding resources already on the web, why would we take the time to put our research and photography online? Our photos are not just the perfect picture of each bird. We think we have a bit of a different angle: we’ve focused on photographing each bird in various stages of development and at various seasons as well as showing certain behaviors particular to that bird. We also show the birds in their own habitat and environment. We think this approach is just different enough to be valuable to the birding community.
